About the Women's Ministry
Leaders: Arie Sain, Trinity Minter-Wooden, Talandra Jones
Women’s ministry centers on meeting the needs of the women at Antioch Baptist Church. The women’s ministry exists to serve all women and to assist with helping them to serve others. The ministry is responsible for coordinating and leading events specifically for women. The primary goal is to assemble the women of the church in to fellowship with one another, share the Word of God, and to carry out the vision and mission statements of the church. We have a desire to empower women to do ministry in the church and community. We want to intentionally meet the women exactly where they are. The ministry allows us to address the challenges cultivating in our hearts and mind. We have an opportunity to mentor, equip women to know the Lord, and lead with strength; using gifts and talents to serve in the church, reach the world, and make disciples.
Primary goals of the Women’s Ministry:
- Learn from one another (Titus 2)
- Encourage our women to participate in the ministry and church (both inside and outreach)
- Create and maintain sisterhood among women in the church
- Motivate, build, encourage, and strengthen women to fulfill our purpose on earth
